Supervisory Board of Strukton appoints two interim directors

Rob van Wingerden and Mark de Haas will be appointed as interim directors of Strukton as of 19 May 2023. With the appointment of the interim directors, the Supervisory Board will step down from the Board of Directors and return in the role of supervisor, and the governance structure of the company will be restored.

Executive Board of Strukton

As of 19 May 2023, the Executive Board of Strukton will consist of Rob van Wingerden (Chief Executive Officer a.i.), Mark de Haas (Chief Transition Officer a.i), en Arthur Vlaanderen (Chief Financial Officer) .

Rob van Wingerden was CEO at Koninklijke BAM Groep till mid 2020. Mark de Haas was CFO at Strukton in 2020-2022. Arthur Vlaanderen has been Strukton’s CFO since mid 2022.

“With Rob and Mark, we have two powerful and experienced directors on board. Together with Arthur, they will have full focus on the business operations and bring calm and stability in the companies. We look forward to working together with them,” says Joseph Kuling, chairman of the Supervisory Board.

The Central Works Councial has given a positive recommendation. Both interim directors are using the period until their appointment to onboard as well as possible.

The Supervisory Board is working towards a situation in which a permanent Executive Board can be appointed. This is expected to be possible after six to twelve months.
