Strukton’s train workshop specialises in the maintenance, overhaul, modernisation and technical support of rail vehicles. From this modern facility, we work every day to ensure the availability, safety and reliability of trains, locomotives, maintenance vehicles and wagons. The workshop offers a comprehensive range of services for passenger operators, freight operators, leasing companies and owners of railway rolling stock

In addition to maintaining passenger trains, the workshop also overhauls and modernises locomotives, maintenance equipment, bogies, wheelsets and technical components.

Our Workshop Services

Maintenance and Overhaul of Rail Vehicles

We provide preventive and corrective maintenance for rail vehicles and components used in both passenger and freight transport. We also carry out extensive overhaul programmes to extend the service life of rolling stock and improve performance.

Overhaul of Bogies, Wheelsets and Braking Systems

In the workshop, bogies, wheelsets and braking systems are dismantled, inspected, overhauled and tested. Thanks to specialised equipment, components can be accurately restored and returned to service.

Train Control and Digital Systems

Our specialists install, maintain and test train control systems. We also perform software updates, fault analyses and system testing. In addition, vehicle system data can be read out and analysed to further improve performance and reliability.

Diesel, Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems

The workshop has specialised facilities for the maintenance and overhaul of diesel engines, hydraulic installations and pneumatic systems. Components such as gearboxes, control units and hydraulic cylinders can also be repaired or overhauled.

Modern Facilities

The workshop is equipped for a wide range of maintenance and overhaul activities. Multiple workshop tracks with inspection pits enable the efficient maintenance of complete trains, locomotives and maintenance vehicles. The site also includes specialised workshops for mechanical, electrical and hydraulic work.
