Strukton Worksphere has started construction of the climate installations for the new production line for high-quality food produced by Hochwals Foods in Bolsward. At the end of February, these sustainable and energy-efficient installations became operational in an industrial environment.

Hochwald Foods GmbH produces high-quality food for people all over the world. The product range includes fresh products like milk, cheese and quark and long-life products like condensed milk and canned whipped cream. At various sites in Germany and the Netherlands, over two billion kilograms of milk are turned into dairy products every year. The new production line produces concentrate that is packed in glass bottles. This production line consists of an ingredient storage, a tank area, a filling area and two autoclave areas.

Sustainable and energy-efficient
In all the areas, Strukton Worksphere is installing air treatment units fitted with heat recovery, cooling, heating and humidification. The climate installation also includes air channels and air Socks. The air treatment units (label A+) are fitted with a thermal recovery wheel for energy recovery and a cooling and heater block.
With two heat pumps, both cold and hot water can be generated. With PLC, Strukton Worksphere controls and monitors the installation controls. All the areas are fitted with LED lighting. At the end of February, this sustainable and energy-efficient installation will be operational in an industrial environment.
