Maintenance operation

We link state-of-the-art technology, smart systems and smart processes with daily maintenance practice.

Bringing the various elements of the SMART maintenance process together, we combine state-of-the-art technology, smart systems and smart processes with daily maintenance operation. Remote condition monitoring and measurement data, advanced algorithms and domain knowledge are translated into practical information for engineers in the field. Engineers in the field provide feedback to the data capturing, analysis and interpretation loop.

"We link state-of-the-art technology, smart systems and smart processes with daily maintenance practice"

Strukton Control Centre

The Strukton Control Centre is the central pivot in the process. The Control Centre facilitates efficient management of rail assets, supporting day-to-day maintenance operations. Captured condition data is transferred into action planning by revealing performance status of assets and generating notifications when deviations occur. The Control Centre services can be delivered from Strukton’s existing facilities or can be established and managed within the customer’s own business.

Maintenance operational excellence

Executing smart maintenance with mature, innovative and proven technology and practices, enables operators to move towards a state of maintenance operational excellence. By applying the Strukton asset management toolkit, we can create a prioritised long-term asset renewals plan, determining the remaining useful life and the optimum moment of replacement, based on the current asset health and operational priorities. Health models are developed and maintained to understand the current state of the network. These models predict future asset condition and enable the prioritisation of areas of operational criticality, aligned with the asset strategy and long-term investment.
