The Primary School of the Campus International School Eindhoven is currently being extended.

consortium SPC ISE is constructing a new building on the site which will accommodate over 200 extra pupils. On Thursday, 15 December, councillor Jannie Visscher will pay an official visit to the Campus to mark the start of the building. She will then be given a tour of the site.

The accelerated expansion of International School Eindhoven is necessary to respond to the growth in the number of pupils. Ten extra classrooms and two language labs will accommodate over 200 children from international knowledge workers.

‘More than a school’
Campus ISE is not just a school, but it’s also a meeting place for international knowledge workers and their families. Besides providing international education, the ISE offers a range of facilities, including a nursery and after-school care. The nursery facilities are provided by Kinderstad. The Campus also has a media centre, a restaurant and plenty of sports facilities. In addition to a gym which complies with NOC*NSF standards, there is also an athletics track and a multifunctional playing field on the site.

Brainport
International education is vitally important for international companies based in the Netherlands or which are considering coming here. The Campus International School Eindhoven aims to help boost and maintain the appeal of the Brainport Region.

Building and expansion
The Campus ISE was created by SPC ISE bv, a consortium in which Strukton, Mansveld and Kien work together. Over a period of 30 years, the consortium will also manage and maintain the buildings and the installations in the buildings as well as the operational management. The consortium is also responsible for the expansion.

Sustainable
At the beginning of 2014, the ISE was awarded the BREEAM good certificate by the Dutch Green Building Council. The certificate is awarded to projects that achieve the various categories of sustainability performance, such as health, energy and waste. The building is the only (historic) school in the Netherlands with this certification.

More about PPP

PPP is a partnership between the government and one or more private companies. The most usual and extensive form is a DBFMO contract, whereby a public contractor awards a contract to Strukton as a market party to design, build, manage and organise the financing for a long period.
